The outstanding students chosen for the College Board National Recognition Programs are honored at UTA. All new students who have been chosen for designations through one of the four national recognition programs for their first year at UTA are eligible for the Distinguished Freshman Award.

The UTA Admissions Office must receive the salutatorians’ official, final high school transcript. Once the final transcript has been sent, please contact schol@uta.edu with your name and UTA student ID number to let them know how you are doing.
To be considered for the Distinguished Freshman Award, kindly submit the email confirmation from the College Board to the UTA Scholarships Office at schol@uta.edu. The College Board will thereafter confirm the designation.
